Nicola Legrottaglie, former Juventus and Bologna defender, made statements from Forte dei Marmi to Sport Mediaset, commenting on Marco Palestra's recent move to Chelsea: "Millionaire deals, that's for sure. There's a lot of money in these markets. Sometimes one can say no, why do you go from 1 to 10 in a short time? It didn't happen to us before, we had to spend 4-5 years at certain levels. There's too much of a gap between the Premier League and other championships, it is almost normal for them to spend it on such a strong young player. We have lost an excellent player in Italy, we will not see him again, only in England, I hope he made it with conviction and heart.

Carnevali has arrived at Juve. "A short time ago I said that if the man with ideas and vision came along, he is always the right man. Juve needs this and I know Carnevali. Above all, coming from years of trials, he now has to give a clear identity for many years. I believe he will make it, he is used to it, he has done great things elsewhere and therefore at Juventus he will find a favorable environment to do what he knows."

Speaking about the defensive market, Legrottaglie said: "I think it depends on Bremer. I think he needs a director, a player different from him, to guide him in certain situations. Juve needs these characteristics. Lucumi impressed me a lot, physically strong and you need that. But it depends on how Spalletti wants to play. We are at the short end: if you want to move forward you need a fast one; if you want to stay there, it's different. Coach knows, he's that good. He will know the best opportunities on the market to satisfy his ideas."

Finally, regarding Goncalo Ramos at Milan, he stated: "Well, I would start with the coach before the player. There is a need for ideas, identities. This coach (Amorim, ed.) has shown elsewhere that he has a clear identity, Milan went in that direction and completely changed their mind. This scares me, doing it from one year to the next. But if they decided like this... I'm always for the young. Why not? Try to get us to help from the outside."
