The Opta supercomputer has provided an analysis on the chances of the English national team to achieve a victory against Panama in the next match of the 2026 World Cup. According to estimates, England have an 81% chance of winning the match and an 84.1% chance of taking first place in group L. In contrast, Panama's chances of a victory are estimated at 8.9%. After two matches played in group L, England have accumulated four points, placing them at the top of the table, while Panama have not yet obtained any points, occupying the last position. The tournament takes place between the United States, Canada and Mexico, from June 11th to July 19th. Let's remember that Argentina is the current world champion, having triumphed in the 2022 final against France, after an exciting match that ended 3-3, with the Argentines winning on penalties.
