Vincenzo Italiano's Besiktas could withdraw from talks for Sassuolo winger Armand Laurienté after offering €20 million for Arsenal player Leandro Trossard. The Italian coach is looking for reinforcements after taking over the Turkish team, particularly in the flanks to adapt to his style of play. It is no secret that there have been negotiations with Sassuolo for Laurienté, who were keen to make the transfer, but the two clubs are struggling to reach an agreement on the price. Sassuolo is asking for at least €25-30 million to let the Frenchman leave, while the offer is close to €20 million. As reported by Sports Digitale, Italiano has given his green light to purchase one of Laurienté or Trossard, but only one will be purchased this summer. This evening, experienced Turkish transfer Yagiz Sabuncuoglu claims that Besiktas have submitted an offer of €18 million plus €2 million in bonuses to Arsenal for Trossard. If this is accepted, the contract with Sassuolo will be closed. Trossard is currently at the 2026 World Cup with Belgium, but his contract with Arsenal expires at the end of the season, so this is the last chance to sell him at 31.
