Ange Postecoglou has been appointed as the new manager of Saudi club Al-Nassr, known for having Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo as its captain. Al-Nassr won the Saudi Pro League title for the first time last May. Previously, the team was led by veteran Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, who left the club at the end of last season. Postecoglou has not had a job since his departure from Nottingham Forest last October after just 39 days in charge. The Australian of Greek origin has signed a two-year contract with Al-Nassr. Under his leadership, Tottenham triumphed in the Europa League in 2025, having also enjoyed success at Celtic, where they won two consecutive Scottish Premiership titles. Postecoglou recently worked as a commentator with ITV during the World Cup.
