Bayern Munich has formalized the purchase of Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt for a sum that can reach a maximum of 55 million euros (50 million plus 5 in bonuses). Brown, who has signed a contract until 2031, is the second major signing of this summer for the Bavarians, after Harry Kane. The left back, born in 2000, will strengthen Bayern's defence, where he will however have to face competition from Alphonso Davies. The Canadian, who is currently involved with his national team at the World Cup, has had several physical problems in the past and therefore the German team is counting on having a valid and quality alternative in Brown. Brown, who was called up for the World Cup by Germany, was however eliminated in the group stage of the competition, as his national team did not access the elimination phase.
