Ekhator, who recently made his debut for the Italian national team against Greece, has signed a contract that will tie him to the Bianconeri until 2031. During his time at Genoa, Ekhator made 57 appearances in all competitions, including just 16 as a starter, scoring five goals and providing one assist. Together with new teammate Kenan Yildiz (71), Ekhator (54) is the youngest player to have played at least 50 games in Serie A in the last two championships. He was also called up to the Italian national team by interim coach Silvio Baldini, recording an assist for Francesco Pio Esposito in a 1-0 win against Greece in a friendly last month.
