The young striker of the Juventus Next Gen, Arman Durmisi, gave a long interview to the official Juventus channels, talking about his arrival in Italy and the path he has taken so far in the club.
These are his words:
"Arriving at a big club like Juventus together with my brother (now with Juventus Next Gen, ed.) was a dream come true. I always wanted to play in a big club and Juventus is the top. It was all very nice, the welcome they gave us, the club, the fans and also my teammates.
I started working a lot and I saw that the sacrifices made together with my family have borne fruit. Now I have to continue like this and try to improve day after day.
My goal is to get to the first team, that's what I'm working for every day, but I know that it takes patience, it also takes a bit of luck, I must not get injured and I must always give my best to earn the first team call-ups.
Playing in the Juventus first team would be the best, it would be a dream come true, because it is not like playing in another club, for me playing in Juventus has a special value, because it is the club where I have always wanted to get to and I hope to get there as soon as possible.
Juventus is a club that invests a lot in young people, there are many talents who are coming up, and therefore for us it is also a source of pride to know that the club believes in us and trusts us.
Playing in Serie C was a good test, although obviously my goal is to move up the category and play in Serie B or play in the first team.
This year I have already made some appearances in the Italian Cup, I hope to make more and I also hope to score some goals, because goals are always nice and always good for morale.
I saw that the first team coach gave confidence to the young players, so I hope that the Juventus Next Gen coach also continues to give us confidence and make us play, because we need to play and gain experience.
I get along very well with the coach, the coach gives me a lot of trust and so do my teammates, I feel very integrated into the group and I hope to continue to work well and deserve the coach's trust.
A secret dream of mine is to make my debut in the senior national team. I've already had the chance to play with the youth national teams, but with the seniors it would be a dream come true.
I know I still have a lot of work to do, but I hope to be in the next squad for the senior national team."
What happens now
Durmisi will continue to work with Juventus Next Gen, trying to impress the coaches and earn a call up to the first team. With the growing focus on young talent in Serie C, his development will be closely monitored by fans and industry experts.
