The Bianconeri, despite the absence of some key elements such as Federico Gatti and Jeff Ekhator, who were injured, showed a good initial attitude. Randal Kolo Muani, Guglielmo Vicario and Zeki Celik, new signings, were deployed from the first minute, demonstrating the coach's desire to focus on a reinvigorated team. However, Vicario had to leave the field due to injury, replaced by Mattia Perin late on after the goalkeeper was forced to deal with cramps.
The match started with Juventus wasting two important opportunities: first Bremer missed a header from a corner taken by Douglas Luiz, then Kolo Muani kicked high from a few steps away. The third chance, however, led to the goal: from a new corner kick, Francisco Conceicao put in a precise cross, allowing Bremer to score with a header from close range.
Frosinone, who finished second in Serie B last season, tried to react and had a double opportunity to equalize. Giacomo Calò challenged Vicario with a powerful shot, but Kvernadze then fired off the rebound. Juventus continued to waste chances, with Kalulu hitting the woodwork and Conceicao missing a header into an empty net, demonstrating a lack of cynicism in front of goal.
The end of the match saw Frosinone looking for an equaliser, with Seydou Fini testing Perin's reactivity. A shot from Conceicao finally ended just wide, while the woodwork once again saved the Bianconeri from a possible draw. With this success, Juventus starts the championship with three points, but will have to improve their ability to capitalize on opportunities to avoid risks in the future.
The next match for the Bianconeri will be fundamental to test the team's real ambitions in this championship, while Frosinone will have to work on the offensive phase to try to get points in the next matches.
What happens now
With this victory, Juventus will have the opportunity to build momentum in the upcoming Serie A matches. However, they will face challenges related to injuries to key players such as Federico Gatti and Jeff Ekhator. The team will also have to work to improve their efficiency in attack, to avoid repeating the mistakes of this match.
