Sebastiano Desplanches in the sights of Rangers and Norwich City
Palermo goalkeeper Sebastiano Desplanches is being targeted by Rangers and Norwich City, with loan options available.
Sebastiano Desplanches, Palermo goalkeeper and former Italian Under-21 international, is attracting interest from several teams, including Glasgow Rangers and Norwich City, as reported by Sky Sport Italia. The 23-year-old was a product of Milan's youth system until he was sold to Vicenza in 2022. Subsequently, Desplanches represented Trento and Palermo, spending this season on loan at Pescara in Serie B. According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, there have been several requests for his services, including calls from abroad, with Rangers and Norwich among the interested teams. Several Italian teams are also reportedly monitoring the situation. Desplanches has been a regular starter for the Under-21 national team, amassing 16 appearances for the Azzurrini, having represented them at various youth levels. His current contract with Palermo expires in June 2028, but he could be available on loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season.
