Robertson: "It feels like Christmas Eve in the hotel"

Scotland captain Andy Robertson expresses his excitement as the team prepares for their return to the World Cup after 28 years, likening the atmosphere in the hotel to that of Christmas Eve. The team will face Haiti in the opening match.

Captain Andy Robertson has described the atmosphere in the Scotland team hotel as that of "Christmas Eve" as the team prepares to end a 28-year wait to return to the World Cup. Steve Clarke's team will face Haiti in their opening Group C match at Boston Stadium, Massachusetts on Saturday. Robertson underlined the importance of the event: "It's an incredible stadium, an amazing experience to have. I'm so proud of everyone, the 26 who will participate.
