During an event organized by SportMediaset in Riccione, Giampaolo Pazzini and Andrea Ranocchia told some curious anecdotes regarding their former teammates at Inter. In particular, they talked about the Brazilian Lucio and the French Yann M'Vila. Regarding Lucio, Pazzini said: "Before the matches, Lucio didn't speak. But he had his own way of warming up, a very particular one. He would take a ball and hit a wall, as if wanting to test his defensive ability. This made us laugh a lot. I myself didn't believe it at first, I thought it was a legend, but it was all true. Before the matches, he would move away from the pitch and go look for a wall. He would do this: he would take a ball and start to throw it against the wall, but he didn't throw it like that, in a normal way. He kicked the ball against the wall, but very hard, I'd say he actually hit it. We found that thing funny, I mean, I don't know how useful it was, but it was funny." Ranocchia instead added: "Lucio didn't speak at all, he didn't trust anyone. Even in the pre-season, when we went abroad, he never went out with us, he never went to dinner with us. He always went on his own and locked himself in his room, we didn't know what he was doing." On Yann M'Vila, Pazzini instead said: "Yann M'Vila is a player that I have always adored. He was a very talented player, in my opinion underrated. And he also had some strange, very particular habits. We also noticed this when we arrived at Inter. He had a sort of collection of guns, and he used to keep them in the dashboard of his car. Once, I remember, he came to training camp with us and even brought a gun into the locker room. And we said to ourselves: 'Be careful, today we must not touch him, we must not let him get close to us, because anything could happen'. I mean, it was an incredible thing, it didn't seem real to us."
