On the other hand, Snipe, trained by the renowned Dan Skelton, has a more solid track record in hurdle racing, having triumphed in four of his 24 outings. In his last performance, despite the defeat, he made a good showing, losing by a whisker in a three-horse race at Warwick and now drops the distance to two miles and seven furlongs.
As for Sedgefield's second event, which starts at 1.50pm, an interesting horse is Arms Park, making his hurdles debut. This colt, a son of Walk In The Park, has already shown potential with a win in three bumpers races. In his only previous appearance, he dominated the scene at Taunton, and expectations are high for this season. Of note, Act Of Innocence won this race in 2025 before going on to achieve success in other races.
Another horse to watch is Jet Of Dreams, running at 2.50pm at Sedgefield, who will look to overcome his additional weight. Eighth-year Warren Greatrex followed up a good performance with a distance win on the course and could prove difficult to beat today. Kientzheim, owned by JP McManus, has struggled in his jumping, but his potential is still high. Finally, Lady Kara, who has proven to be on the rise, will look to improve her performance compared to her past run against Jet Of Dreams.
Additionally, the 2.35pm race at Worcester will see Miss Moffett, a sister to Nube Negra, make her debut for the Skelton team. Miss Malone To You, Big Orange's sister, will also tackle the barriers for the first time. Finally, Sam England's Littletown Lad will attempt to take a three in the 3.50pm race at Sedgefield, covering special attention for racing fans.
