Bonucci will not be the coach of the Fiorentina Primavera: from Parolo to Buzzegoli, the candidates
Fiorentina is looking for a new coach for the Primavera and Leonardo Bonucci will not be the chosen one. Among the candidates stand out Marco Parolo and Daniele Buzzegoli.
The trail that had linked Leonardo Bonucci to the Fiorentina Primavera quickly cooled. The former Juventus and Italian national team defender had been indicated as one of the possible candidates to replace Daniele Galloppa on the Viola's Under 20 bench, but at the moment this option seems to have lost steam.
After the separation from Galloppa, now at the helm of Modena, the Viola management is evaluating various solutions to define the new technical structure of the Primavera team. Among the names monitored is that of Marco Parolo, former Lazio and national midfielder, fresh from his experience with Milan's Under 16s. Parolo represents a popular choice, thanks to his experience and knowledge in working with young talents.
Also remaining on the list of possible candidates are Daniele Buzzegoli, who recently concluded his adventure with the Como Primavera, and Alessandro Diamanti, former Fiorentina player. Even an internal promotion cannot be ruled out: the most accredited name in this case is that of Marco Capparella, current coach of the Under 18s, who highlighted his abilities by winning the Viareggio Tournament, beating Rijeka in the final, an achievement which further validated his candidacy.
