Speaking on Radio TuttoNapoli, Bortolo Mutti spoke about Massimiliano Allegri's arrival on the Napoli bench, underlining that "they are two different lines of thought. I believe that experienced coaches like Allegri and Conte are still very important for our football. They are concrete technicians who aim for results. Today I often hear people talk about 'good football', but honestly I see few teams that really express it. If the objective is to build a competitive team in the league and in European cups, Allegri he is one of the most suitable coaches, naturally based on the staff he will have at his disposal."

Mutti also mentioned the difficult climate that surrounded Conte: "Not living in that environment on a daily basis, I find it difficult to judge. The press has the right to express opinions and criticism, but it is important that there is a certain harmony between all the components. However, I don't think that this was the main reason for Conte's departure". Finally, he commented on the Italian national team, stating: "We need a coach of great charisma, capable not only of leading the team but also of influencing the choices and organization of Italian football. The problem is not just launching young players, but understanding what their real technical value is. The renewal must be part of a broader project."
