Milan, Pochettino's prices rise: with him on the bench Planes for the role of sporting director
Mauricio Pochettino has emerged as a strong candidate to take charge of Milan, with Ramón Planes likely to join him as sporting director. Pochettino's commitments with the USA for the World Cup could be compensated by the immediate availability of Planes, who has left Al-Ittihad.
Many names and little clarity at Milan, regarding the choice of the coach and the reconstruction of the management. A hot name these days was that of Ralf Rangnick, the current coach of Austria and indicated as a possible new top Rossoneri manager. A possibility, combined with the German's centralizing spirit, which doesn't seem to go down well with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and consequently doesn't seem to warm - at least for the moment - even Jerry Cardinale.
On the question of the technical guide, after the no's from Iraola and According to what Tuttosport reports, it is Marucio Pochettino: a very respectable CV (Tottenham, Chelsea and PSG among others), a fairly flexible idea of football and the possibility of retaining some of the big names in the dressing room (above all Modric, to whom Real Madrid have offered a managerial role).

An obstacle that could be overcome in some way: Pochettino's arrival in Milan would be accompanied by that of Ramon Planes as sporting director: given that the manager has just left Al-Ittihad, he could immediately body and soul in his new adventure and in this way compensate for the possible late arrival of the new coach due to the world championships.
