Liverpool intensifies the hunt for Diomande
Liverpool have stepped up their efforts to land RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande, while Arsenal are competing with PSG for two players. Brentford offer for Said El Mala, but the player prefers not to move.
Liverpool have intensified their pursuit of Ivorian winger Yan Diomande, making contact with German club RB Leipzig, who however are determined not to sell him. Paris Saint-Germain is also interested in Diomande, who has made it clear that he prefers a transfer to the French club. Arsenal face competition from PSG to secure French striker Eli Junior Kroupi, 19, currently at Bournemouth, and Argentinian centre-forward Julian Alvarez, 26, from Atletico Madrid. Brentford have made a €50 million bid for Cologne's 19-year-old German winger Said El Mala, but the player has told the club he does not intend to move to the Premier League. Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella, 27, is considering a move away from Stamford Bridge, with Atletico Madrid set to make a bid for the Spanish player. Juventus are demanding at least 30 million euros for Italian right-back Andrea Cambiaso, 26, who has been linked to Chelsea and Barcelona. Dusan Vlahovic will leave Juventus at the end of the season, not renewing his contract with the Bianconeri. Juventus have regained interest in Crystal Palace centre-forward Jean-Philippe Mateta, 28, and are also reportedly interested in Norwegian striker Alexander Sorloth, 30, from Atletico Madrid. Finally, Stockholm's AIK has announced that they are in negotiations for the sale of Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna, 18, linked to Brighton, Chelsea and Newcastle.
