Liam Rosenior will make an unexpected return to Ligue 1, just five months after leaving BlueCo-owned RC Strasbourg for Chelsea. According to what reported by L'Equipe, the English coach will replace Antoine Kombouaré as coach of Paris FC. Rosenior is expected to sign a two-year contract Thursday, with an additional optional year. Paris FC were expected to return to preparatory training on Wednesday, but the date was postponed due to negotiations with Rosenior and also current coach Kombouaré. The latter would have asked the company for greater guarantees regarding the quality of the squad available for next season, as well as a contract renewal, but the two parties did not reach an agreement. On Thursday, the day Rosenior turns 42, he is expected to be made official as the new coach of Paris FC.
