There was huge anticipation. Florentino Pérez appeared in front of the cameras again, and this time for a reason unheard of in recent years: to present his proposals as a candidate for the presidency of Real Madrid. After 20 years, in fact, the Madrid members will vote again on June 7th. This morning, another candidate, Enrique Riquelme, presented his campaign. Now it was Florentino's turn, and there was really nothing to lose, because, as soon as he stepped into the room, he was greeted by a thunderous ovation. Between digs and recognition of his work, Florentino showed the members various proposals. He started with one that directly concerns the members themselves. The proposal consists in ensuring that the members are considered the true owners of Real Madrid, thanks to an unprecedented legal and economic reform. Remaining on this line, Florentino promised that the issue of season ticket reventa, which worries the fans a lot, will be resolved. He assured that the fight against the reventa is progressing well and that, at the end of each season, the requisitioned season tickets will be made available to non-subscriber members, as well as verifying all reported cases to find out if there have been errors or fraud. New spaces will be created in the Ciudad Real Madrid, such as a new technological district that brings together the major innovations in artificial intelligence and biotechnology, capable of allowing the team to detect injury patterns, avoid them or have tactical advantages never seen before. Furthermore, he confirmed that the new signings will arrive, as always, because they have already identified the positions to strengthen. And, of course, he did not want to leave aside the already well-known 'Bernabéu Infinito' project. A project with which Florentino intends to expand the stadium experience to all corners of the world, and he will do so in collaboration with Apple. In fact, he promised that it will be possible to purchase a seasonal subscription associated with augmented reality glasses, which members will be able to try out at the venue of his candidacy. Finally, Florentino returned to raise the applause of those present when he referred to the 'Negreira Case', promising to continue fighting to guarantee the cleanliness of the competition: "If you haven't listened to me, I'll say it again", joked the entrepreneur to close with a real crowd, greeting those present.
