Aston Villa's Lamare Bogarde has attracted interest from Brighton and Sunderland over a possible move to the Premier League.

Lamare Bogarde (22) could soon move to the Premier League. Aston Villa's Dutch midfielder has attracted real interest from Brighton & Hove Albion and Sunderland. According to English sources, both teams would be willing to pay a substantial sum to secure the performances of the young international. Last season, Bogarde played 44 competitive matches for the Villans, who won the Europa League and finished in the top four of the Premier League. Under the guidance of Unai Emery, the young Dutchman was considered an important part of the team, gaining more and more playing time, although often through substitutions. PSV had focused on Bogarde as the ideal reinforcement to strengthen their squad in this summer session. The Dutch champions had in fact asked for information on the midfielder, considered a highly valuable addition. Moreover, Bogarde's profile lent itself perfectly to PSV's politics, given that the player is young, with great potential and obviously of Dutch nationality. According to The Sun, "Brighton have made Bogarde their main priority for the summer transfer window."
