Aberdeen have made the signing of Tony Yogane official from Brentford, the young striker having impressed during his loan spell at Dundee.
Aberdeen have officially completed the signing of former Dundee loanee Tony Yogane for an undisclosed fee from Brentford. The young winger, born in 2003, spent last season on loan at Dens Park, where he made 42 appearances, attracting the attention of Dons manager Stephen Robinson, who described him as one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership.
Yogane began his football career in Sheffield Wednesday's academy, before moving to Brentford, where he progressed through the B team, before a loan spell at Exeter City.

“Tony is a really promising player,” Robinson told club media. "He has huge potential, as he showed in his time at Dundee, where he was one of the best in the league. There have been several clubs interested in him, so it is a great coup for us to have signed him on a long-term contract. Tony has a strong motivation to improve, he is hungry for success and we believe this is the right environment to continue his development and help the Club progress."
Yogane, who has already had a few League Cup appearances for Brentford under Thomas Frank, said: "After the end of the season, my agent told me that Aberdeen were interested and things moved quickly. This is a step forward for me. Aberdeen are a great Club. I want to win here. It's a big challenge after what happened last season, but we have to prove otherwise. When we played Aberdeen last season, I had a good impression of the Club. Especially when you see the greatness of the support. I can't wait to see the fans. I hope it will be an enjoyable season.
