A deal between Juventus and Genoa involving Italian Under-21 striker Jeff Ekhator appears to be moving quickly, and updates from Tuesday morning claim the Bianconeri are looking to include versatile full-back David Puczka as part of the deal. According to multiple sources in Italy on Monday evening, Juventus are pushing to secure a surprise deal for Ekhator, whose current employers need to make a sale by the end of the month to help balance their books. This means that if the deal goes through, there is a chance that it will be resolved by the end of the day. According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio on Tuesday, contacts between the two clubs continued throughout the morning. The two sides are discussing a package worth around 15 million euros. Juventus also plans to include one of their young talents to attract Genoa. The current tip is versatile full-back Puczka, who scored 10 goals in 51 league appearances for the Next Gen team in the 2025-26 season. If Puczka moved to Genoa as part of the Ekhator deal, Juventus would have to retain a buy-back option. There are other young Juventus players who could be offered to Genoa, including goalkeeper Giovannia Daffara, but he is also of interest to Parma according to the latest updates.
