Real Madrid is in first place in the annual Forbes ranking for the fifth consecutive year with a value of 8.15 billion euros. Despite a disappointing sporting season, in which the team lost the championship to Barcelona, was eliminated from the Champions League in the quarter-finals by Bayern Munich and suffered a shock defeat in the Copa del Rey against Albacete, Real Madrid saw its value increase by 41% compared to last year. Real Madrid's turnover, which stands at almost 1.1 billion euros, is the highest ever for a football club.
