Bayern Munich have reached a verbal agreement with PSV Eindhoven for Ismael Saibari on a five-year contract, Foot Mercato reports. The Bavarians were looking for a new left winger and after showing interest in Antony Gordon, who chose to move to Barcelona, they shifted their attention to Saibari, who had a brilliant season in the Eredivisie last year.

The German champions are also expected to complete a deal for German left-back Nathaniel Brown in the coming days. Saibari enjoyed his best season with PSV, contributing significantly to the team's third consecutive title. He scored 15 goals and provided 8 assists in 27 appearances, earning the Player of the Year award.

The Moroccan is known for his ability to go straight towards goal: he recorded the highest number of total shots and placed third in shots on target per game last season. His dribbling skills allow him to get into dangerous positions, both to finish on goal and to find a teammate. His versatility is a further plus, as he can be deployed in any position along the attacking front and play as an attacking or central midfielder. However, Saibari may find it difficult to break into the starting line-up, with Michael Olise, Luis Diaz and Harry Kane currently being Bayern's preferred attacking trio.
