Heart of Midlothian are close to completing the signing of winger Calvin Miller from Falkirk. Hearts hope to complete the signing of the 28-year-old this week.

Furthermore, Celtic, Feyenoord, Bodo-Glimt and Toulouse are showing interest in Sandefjord central defender Zinedin Smajlovic, for whom the Norwegian club would demand a record price of at least £2.6 million.

Celtic and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in Alfie Devine, despite Preston North End having activated an option to enter into salary negotiations with the 21-year-old from Tottenham Hotspur, pending a £6m transfer following the midfielder's loan.

Aberdeen are close to a deal to sign former St Mirren midfielder Connor Ronan, whose contract with Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids expires at the end of the year.

Western Sydney Wanderers are interested in signing Nicolas Milanovic from Aberdeen, to whom they sold the 24-year-old for £400,000 last summer.

Furthermore, defender Charlie Dewar is keen to find a starting place next season – whether at Dundee United or on loan elsewhere – following his spell with Alloa Athletic, while manager Jim Goodwin has suggested the 19-year-old is not yet ready to start regularly at Tannadice.

Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and several English Championship clubs are closely following the progress of Calum Adamson, an 18-year-old midfielder who is entering the final year of his contract at Rangers, while St Mirren and Kilmarnock are interested in signing him for next season.

Technical manager David Longwell says it will be a team effort again this summer for Dundee's backroom staff in the transfer market.

Former Rangers manager Russell Martin and ex-Hibernian manager Tony Mowbray are in the running to become Blackburn Rovers' new manager should talks with Slaven Bilic continue to stall over a financial package.
