From a sporting point of view, Bayern see him as a versatile attacking option, capable of playing alongside or behind Harry Kane and in different positions in the attacking department. The obstacle appears to be financial rather than tactical. With Barcelona waiting for the right conditions, Bayern withdrawing and Manchester United reconsidering their role, Rashford's future remains unresolved. The next few weeks will determine whether he returns to Old Trafford, secures a permanent move elsewhere or finds a way back to Barcelona under a different financial setup.
