Forest Green Rovers have loaned midfielder James Berry from Wycombe Wanderers for the season. Berry, 25, played on loan at League Two side Chesterfield last season but drops two categories to join Robbie Savage-managed Forest Green Rovers. Last season Berry scored 5 goals for Chesterfield. However, he has never played for Wycombe since joining the club in January 2025. In the past he has also played for Macclesfield, another team managed by Robbie Savage. “James is without a doubt one of the best talents I have ever worked with and his skill is unquestionable,” Savage said.
