Everything is ready at the Mapei Stadium for the 11th matchday of Serie A. Tomorrow Sassuolo will host Fiorentina and for the occasion we listened to Gattuso's deputy, Francesco Mastantuono, in the press conference. Here are his words:

"We're working for the three points, it's just a matter of details. The team is alive, they're well, we've had a good week of work and we want to bring home the result. Sassuolo plays very well, they're a team that has ideas, we know it will be a difficult match but we're going there to win. Seeing the team like this in training, with so much desire, with so much enthusiasm, gives me hope for tomorrow. The team is very motivated, the boys are physically well and we want to bring home the three points.

It will be an open game, they need to score points at home, we need points. In my opinion it will be a very beautiful match to watch, very open. They have quality, we have quality, so it will be fun.

The three points tomorrow would give us a great breath of fresh air for the rest of the championship, not that they are decisive, but a victory away from home would give us more confidence for the next matches too.

Gonzalez's absence? We are sorry for Gonzalo's absence, we know how important he is for the team, but whoever will be on the pitch will give their all to try to make up for this lack.

Tomorrow's match will absolutely not be a rematch, because we have nothing to claim, on the contrary we must take advantage of the mistakes we made in that match and try not to repeat them.

Training choices? There are still a couple of doubts that the coach is evaluating, but in general the team will be the same, the formation will be the one we talked about during the week.

I believe that tomorrow we will need a great performance from everyone, not only from those who will play from the start, but also from those who will come in later, because it will be a very difficult match and it will really take great attention and a great desire to fight to bring home the result."

What happens now

Tomorrow, at the Mapei Stadium, an intense and open challenge is expected, with both teams ready to fight for the points up for grabs.
