Feyenoord si muove per Sami Ouaissa

Feyenoord are interested in NEC's Sami Ouaissa as a possible replacement for Anis Hadj Moussa, now at Liverpool. The club is preparing for a summer season full of challenges and transfers.

Feyenoord prepares to contact the NEC to obtain Sami Ouaissa. The left-footed striker is considered within the Rotterdam club as the ideal successor to Anis Hadj Moussa, who recently left the team to move to Liverpool. Feyenoord's management faces both a sporting and financial challenge to ensure the success of this purchase.

Arne Slot, the Feyenoord coach, had to fight internally for the arrival of Hadj Moussa, believing that he was the right profile for the team: a left winger capable of breaking opposing defenses with individual plays. Despite some initial scepticism, former general manager Dennis te Kloese allowed the coach to proceed with the purchase, shelling out 3.5 million euros at Patro Eisden, where Hadj Moussa was under contract.

However, Hadj Moussa did not impress as expected and left the club to move to Liverpool, after proving his worth, for example, in the match against PEC Zwolle, where he scored a brace. Now, the footballer is ready to show off again for Algeria in a friendly match against the Netherlands.

With his growing market value, which had attracted the interest of Benfica last summer with an offer of 25 million euros, Feyenoord decided to keep him again for this season. However, Hadj Moussa is open to a new adventure, and with a World Cup looming, a transfer seems more likely than ever. Feyenoord are willing to consider offers, provided the right price is paid, which could lead to a very fruitful summer for the club. Other players such as Givairo Read and Ayase Ueda are also attracting interest, while the management are already looking to the future, with NEC's Sami Ouaissa top of the list as a possible replacement.
