Slovenian striker Nina Kajzba has signed for Swiss Super League club FC Zürich from Italian side Parma Calcio. The player has signed a long-term contract, which will keep her at the club until 2028. The speedy forward spent the 2025/26 season on loan from Parma to Belgian club Standard Liège, where she established herself as a key member of the squad. Kajzba brings with him considerable experience to Zurich. Having made her debut for Slovenia in 2021, she has become a permanent fixture in their starting eleven, making 31 appearances and scoring four goals to date. Not only has she been successful internationally, but Kajzba has also played in some of Europe's biggest leagues. He represented the Roma, Parma and Napoli teams in the Italian Serie A and also played in Belgium with Standard Liège and in his native Slovenia with ŽNK Pomurje. FC Zürich finished last season in mid-table, placing fifth in the Swiss Super League, a disappointing performance for the 24-time league champions. Coach Dennis Hediger hopes Kajzba's international pedigree can help improve the situation in the future. Other talent at Hediger's disposal include former Bayern Munich striker Amelie Roduner, Irish international Diane Caldwell and club captain Naomi Mégroz.
