Lille have formalized the hiring of Davide Ancelotti as the new first team coach. For the Italian coach, this is the first experience in Europe as a head coach, after the previous adventure at Botafogo in Brazil. Ancelotti succeeds Paulo Fonseca and has signed a two-year contract. LOSC is delighted to welcome Davide Ancelotti ahead of the 2026-2027 season, which will see the merger of Ligue 1 and UEFA. Champions League. This young coach, already very experienced thanks to his long career with some of the most important clubs, coaching staffs and dressing rooms in the world, is also renowned for his ability to develop young talents and achieve top-level results."
