Zinedine Zidane has compared Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé, highlighting their unique qualities and roles in the team.

Mbappé is more aggressive. He is able to change the flow of the game in a matter of seconds. Give him a minute and he can decide the fate of the match on his own. As a coach you appreciate a player like Dembélé for everything he offers to the team. But if you need someone who can win the game with a single gesture, choose Mbappé. That's why both are special: one makes the team stronger, the other can change history in an instant," Zidane told Motivaciones Fútbol on social media. After the group stage, the French national team finished in first place in Group I with nine points. In the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, the team will face Sweden on July 1.
