Lille have formalized the hiring of Davide Ancelotti as the new first team coach. For the Italian coach, this is the first experience in Europe as a head coach, after the previous adventure at Botafogo in Brazil. Ancelotti succeeds Paulo Fonseca and has signed a two-year contract.
