Benevento seeks to strengthen its attack after promotion to Serie B, focusing on Francesco Ruocco from Mantova.
Marc Cucurella expresses his emotion at joining Real Madrid, declaring that he did not hesitate to accept the offer, considering it a unique opportunity.

Marc Cucurella has revealed he had "no hesitation" in joining Real Madrid after hearing about their offer to sign him. The Spaniard completed his move to Madrid from Chelsea on Monday, for a reported fee of €60m (£51.8m). Cucurella made 163 appearances for the Blues following his move from Brighton in 2022, providing 11 assists and scoring nine goals, while winning the Club World Cup and Conference League during his time in London.

The 27-year-old was the first of three marquee signings announced by Los Blancos this week, with Bernardo Silva and Ibrahima Konate following Cucurella into the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The move came as a surprise, with many expecting Cucurella to return to Barcelona after being part of their academy, but the left-back saw his latest move as an easy decision. "There were several options, but when the offer from Real Madrid arrived, I didn't hesitate," Cucurella told El Mundo. "I think it's a unique opportunity. In the end, playing for Real Madrid is an honor, and not many players can say they have done it, so I had no doubts."
While many new faces join the club, a familiar one will return to the dugout as Jose Mourinho looks to lead the team to success. Mourinho has already lifted three trophies with Los Blancos between 2010 and 2013, including a LaLiga title, but Madrid have not won any major trophies in the last two seasons. Cucurella has already spoken to Mourinho, who was very keen to have the defender in the team. "Yes, we talked about it and he told me that he was looking forward to working with me, that I would adapt very well, that Real Madrid is a great club," Cucurella added. "Then, nothing else, just that I had to do very well at the World Cup and that we would see each other in Madrid. He told me he wanted me, and that was it. I'm very happy with this trust. I can't wait to start working with him.
