Cittadella, Marchetti on Iori's stay: "We gave ourselves some time to decide"
Cittadella general director Stefano Marchetti said the decision on whether Manuel Iori would remain as coach will be made next week while several transfer negotiations are being worked on.
Will Manuel Iori still lead Cittadella next season or not? This is one of the questions in the Venetian house that not even the general director Stefano Marchetti was able to, or wanted to, answer in an interview given to Il Gazzettino: "We spoke with them and gave ourselves some time to decide. Next week I think we will resolve this issue too". Then there is room for the player market with Marchetti taking stock of the situation: "I'm working on two or three negotiations. They aren't finalized because it doesn't just depend on us, it's not just Cittadella at stake. We're talking about players who also have other requests and are evaluating them. But I want to be confident."
