Chelsea aware of the 'tough competition' for its transfer objectives
After the sale of Cucurella to Real Madrid, Chelsea is aiming for more targeted signings and will face tough competition for some transfer targets.
Chelsea is preparing the summer transfer market after the sale of Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid for 60 million euros. According to what reported by The Athletic, the Blues do not intend to launch into indiscriminate purchases, but will focus on 2-3 players capable of immediately entering the starting 11. Among the targets is Valentin Barco, current Strasbourg player, who can play multiple roles, from full-back to midfielder. However, Chelsea will face stiff competition for this player. Another name the Londoners are focusing on is Morgan Rogers of Aston Villa, a very interesting player capable of covering multiple roles in the offensive department. Chelsea is therefore looking for players who can solve multiple problems at the same time, especially in view of next season, in which there will be no European competitions to face.
