Arsenal prepares for the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. After leading the Gunners to the Premier League title, manager Mikel Arteta now dreams of reaching a milestone that would be unique in history. The one Arteta knew him well is Santi Cazorla, who played with him in the past as a player.

Speaking to Sky Sport about him, Cazorla said: "Arteta is a reference, he had a lot of personality in the dressing room, he was a shield for me, a very important person for me who also helped me a lot due to the difficulties I had with the language. It doesn't surprise me what he is doing, you could already see when he played that he would become a great coach, I know him well and I know how he works. If he also won the Champions League it would be the right reward for his work."

Then he added: "Even as a player he always tried to take care of the smallest details, to try to win games and as a coach this amplified it even more. I think that having worked with Pep Guardiola helped him grow on a personal level. Then he is a coach who wants to be better every day and wants to look for ways to continue to grow and for his team to be the best, that's what's happening."
