Real Madrid are close to completing the transfer of Bernardo Silva from Manchester City, while Bayern Munich have entered advanced negotiations for Marcus Rashford. Manchester United are optimistic about the arrival of Mateus Fernandes.
Real Madrid are expected to complete the purchase of Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva, 31, to start Jose Mourinho's second venture at the club when his contract with Manchester City expires at the end of this month. Bayern Munich feel confident they can acquire Manchester United and England striker Marcus Rashford, 28, after positive talks with his representatives. Manchester United are increasingly optimistic about the arrival of Portuguese and West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, 21, after spurning interest from Arsenal. Newcastle have reignited their interest in Manchester City and England goalkeeper James Trafford, 23, as work continues to strengthen the club's goalkeeping department. Arsenal are considering an offer for Real Sociedad's Spanish midfielder Ander Barrenetxea, who has also been scouted by Tottenham. Leeds and Liverpool are both interested in South Korean centre-back Lee Han-beom, 23, from Midtjylland, with Napoli, Monaco and Lyon monitoring the situation. Brighton & Hove Albion have made a £30m bid for Croatian defender Luka Vuskovic, 19, from Tottenham. Besiktas have entered advanced talks with Arsenal striker Leandro Trossard, 31, over a £20million transfer. Galatasaray are interested in signing Emiliano Buendia, 29, from Aston Villa, and Unai Emery's team could replace him with Crysencio Summerville, 24, from West Ham. Barcelona intends to sell outgoing goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, 34, to Ajax.
