Bellingham asserts himself during the break
Why it matters
Jude Bellingham's performance during the international break underlines his crucial role in Real Madrid. With 8 goals and 1 assist in 10 official matches, Bellingham not only stands out as the team's best scorer, but also establishes himself as a leader on the pitch, positively influencing the performances of his teammates.
Context
Jude Bellingham, a young English talent, has proven to be a fundamental element for Real Madrid, overtaking even experienced players such as Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka in the national team's scoring charts. His growth continues to cause discussion, making him one of the most promising young players in the current football scene.
Key points
- Bellingham asserts himself during the break.
- Jude Bellingham was Real Madrid's most decisive player during the international break, here's why.
- Bellingham speaks again in the word.
With these 3 goals scored in the last two games, Bellingham has become the best scorer for the English national team in the calendar year 2023, even surpassing Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka.
And if Bellingham has shown himself with the national team, his performance with Real Madrid is no different, where in 10 official matches he has already achieved 8 goals and 1 assist. Numbers that make him appear as Real Madrid's best player at the start of the season.
Furthermore, his contribution on the pitch goes far beyond simple statistical data, in fact Bellingham is increasingly a point of reference for his teammates.
If Bellingham was the bird of ill omen for the opponents in this break, for his teammates the situation is the opposite, in fact it can be said that there was a teammate who was a real ghost, we are talking about Vinicius Junior.
The Brazilian, who played in both of his national team's matches, has failed to make his mark in any way, and indeed continues to disappoint expectations, both those of the fans and those of his teammates.
At the moment, Vini seems to have completely lost his confidence and brilliance, and the two matches he played with his national team certainly didn't help him recover.
In the friendly against Ghana, Vini started but was replaced in the second half, precisely in the 63rd minute.
And in the World Cup qualifying match against Bolivia, in this case too Vini was a starter, but at the end of the match, instead of celebrating the 5-1 victory with his teammates, he left the field in a very cold and unfriendly way, as if to say that he didn't care about the victory at all.
In short, for the moment the Brazilian talent is a player who is giving absolutely nothing to the team, and we hope that he will soon return to his levels.
On the contrary, Bellingham is giving so much to the team, and hopefully he will return with the same momentum after this international break.
What happens now
With his current form, Bellingham is expected to continue to shine with both Real Madrid and the England national team. His ability to score and create chances could prove decisive in the next matches, while Vinicius Junior will have to work to regain his best form and contribute to the team's success.
