Barcelona is considering loaning out young left-back Jofre Torrents, born in 2004, and Ajax would be interested in the player. Torrents, who played for Barcelona's B team last season, missed most of the season through injury and was called up to the first team only once by coach Hansi Flick. Ajax, who are looking for a left-back after Owen Wijndal had little use last season and returned injured after the winter break, would be an ideal solution for Torrents, who would thus have the opportunity to play with greater continuity to continue his development.
